Sterling Miller serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Sabre Holdings, a position he assumed in May 2008 immediately following his four-year tenure as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Sabre’s wholly owned subsidiary, Travelocity.com. As General Counsel, Sterling manages the company's global legal department and government affairs group, which is responsible for providing legal counsel to Sabre’s lines of business (including Travelocity, lastminute.com, Sabre Travel Network, Sabre Airline Solutions and Sabre Hospitality Solutions), ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and representing the company before federal and local courts and government agencies. He also serves as the company’s Chief Compliance Officer.

Before joining Travelocity, Sterling served as Deputy General Counsel for Litigation and Regulatory Affairs for Sabre Holdings, prior to which he served as an attorney for American Airlines focusing on litigation and regulatory matters. Sterling came to American Airlines from his previous post as an attorney with the firm of Gallop, Johnson & Neuman in St. Louis, Missouri.

Sterling earned his J.D. degree with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and his bachelor’s degree in political science from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He is a member of the Texas and Missouri Bar Associations and has been a speaker on numerous industry panels and published several legal articles. In 2007, Inside Counsel magazine named the Travelocity Legal Department as one of the “Ten Most Innovative” legal departments in the United States. In 2008, the Sabre Holdings Legal Department was awarded with Honorable Mention for the same award. Sterling was also a finalist in the Dallas Business Journal’s “Best Corporate Counsel” award in 2007 and 2008.
